Westfield’s completed their 3rd successive win & 4th double of the season winning 2-1 at Highgate United having beaten them 4-3 at Allpay Park back in August.

Man of the match Scott Jackson scored both goals to lift Fields into 6th place in the table.

A dour first half saw Highgate have the best of the exchanges & only a great save from keeper Jamie Moore in the 10th minute & a superb intervention from Terry Green in the 38th minute denied the home side from going in front.

However the 2nd half brought Fields into new life & within 3 minutes of the restart Scott Jackson scored the first of his goals with a volley from 12 yards.

10 minutes later Scott scored his 2nd when a well positioned corner from Jamie Edwards found him clear to run in & score a terrific header for his 4th goal in 4 games & a 2-0 lead.

Within 7 minutes Highgate reduced the deficit to 2-1 with a well taken goal by Tyrone Douglas from a corner.

Just 10 minutes from the end Richard Kear had the 2nd of a couple of chances for him to have sown up the game , but was unlucky. Once again Westfields held out to secure all 3 points.
