Westfields began their warm-up for the new season with an emphatic 6-2 home win over West Midland League visitors Malvern Rangers at allpay.park on Saturday.

Westfields got off to a flying start when leading goal scorer from last season Daryl Addis got a quick-fire hat-trick before Westfields made it 4-0 before the break when Westfields’ skipper Mark Hibbard blasted home a penalty after Darren Andrews had been brought down.

Westfields’ manager Sean Edwards made 8 changes at the break to introduce other players into the game and Malvern pulled 2 goals back before Jamie Cuss added 2 fine goals when he tucked away good approach work by Sam Harrison and Jamie Addis.
