WESTFIELDS HOST NEW VISITORS IN DENNIS HARTLAND TROPHY

The Annual Dennis Hartland Memorial Trophy match to launch the new season will take place at allpay.park on Saturday 31st July, kick-off 3pm, when Westfields will host Swindon Supermarine from the Zamaretto League.

Westfields usually meet local rivals Pegasus in this curtain-raiser but the two clubs have agreed to invite other teams to contest the Trophy.  “It has been agreed by ourselves and Pegasus that each year we will each choose a pre-season friendly to host the Dennis Hartland Memorial game so next season Pegasus will host a club of their choice which we both feel is fair after many years of Westfields and Pegasus playing each other” said Andy Morris, Westfields’ Chief Executive.

Westfields’ MFA season kicks-off on Saturday 7th August when they will be at home to Loughborough University, kick-off 3pm, at allpay.park.  Loughborough are managed by former Spurs’ striker John Duncan.  Then the following Wednesday Westfields travel to Highgate United for their first away MFA League game.
