Cirencester Town 5 - Price 4, Jeremy
Westfields 1 - Powell
Westfields travelled to Championship chasing Cirencester Town on Saturday and were hit with a heavy 5-1 defeat when Hellenic Leagues leading goal scorer Harlie Price rattled in 4 goals in the last 15 minutes to keep his side in a play off position and leave Westfields with just 2 league wins in their last 10 Hellenic league matches.
Westfields had done well in the first half to hold Cirencester to a goalless opening 45 minutes when good defensive performances by George Clark and Cam Davies kept Cirencester at bay.
In fact Westfields had the best chance of the half when Jamie Clark got clear on goal but with the goal at his mercy he shot straight at the advancing Cirencester Town keeper as the sides went in goalless at the break.
After the break defences remained on top as the score remained goalless until Harlie Price broke the deadlock in the 70th minute when he headed home unchallenged to put Cirencester 1-0 ahead from a right wing cross.
Westfields came back at the home side and Zac Powell scored a great equaliser when he tucked away a left wing cross to put Westfields level in 78 minute.
Cirencester then restored their lead when Theo Jeremy got on the end of a right wing cross to put the home side ahead with 10 minutes left to play.
Harlie Price then showed his class with a hat trick in 82nd 85th and a penalty deep in injury time to give Cirencester Town a 5-1 home win as Westfields collapsed to a rampant home side in the later stages as Price made Westfields pay with his clinical finishing.
Westfields now meet Hereford Pegasus on Tuesday in the 4th Round of The Wiseman Hellenic Floodlite Cup at allpay.park 7-45pm .
