Westfields travelled to Bristol on Tuesday night to earn a valuable away point from a goalless draw with basement club Cribbs.
The home side battling to avoid the drop kept a hardworking Westfields side at bay as both defences gave strong performances in difficult windy conditions and driving rain.
Westfields best chance fell to Mo Djalo who was put through by Simon Prangley but placed his shot wide of the far post with the Cribbs keeper stranded.
Westfields keeper Ryan Smallwood made a smart save from a Cribbs free kick as both sides went in at the break goalless.
After the interval Westfields pushed forward to try and break the deadlock but the Cribbs defence held firm and for Westfields George Clark and Rhys Bennett gave sound performances as Cribbs attack were kept at bay to earn a vital away point from this Hellenic Premier Division game.
