Westfields travelled to Kington Town last night with a young side and were beaten 1-0 by the hosts. The match winner came midway through the second half when new Westfields manager Dan Moon had made 6 substitutions and Jack Gittoes seized on a half chance to blast Kington Town 1-0 ahead. Westfields had dominated the game for long periods but could not turn their possession into goal scoring opportunities. Bradley Phillips worked hard in midfield for Westfields.
Westfields now travel to Newent Town on Thursday for another away game before opening their home campaign with the visit of Caerau Ely on Saturday kick off 3pm at allpay.park.
