Westfields followed on from their opening day away win at Malmesbury by gaining back to back Hellenic Premier Division League wins with a fine 3-1 away win at Longlevens on Wednesday evening.
Westfields new look team under new manager Danny Janes gave an impressive second half display to romp home deserved winners with an impressive display.
Westfields took a 15th minute lead when Joe Hunt crossed into the Longlevens penalty area and Dan Cottrill rose well to head Westfields 1-0 ahead.
Matt Gwynne then saved at full stretch to keep the Gloucester side at bay but could do nothing to stop the Longlevens equaliser when Ethan Vaughan hit a screaming 20 yard free kick to put the sides all square at the interval.
After the break Westfields stepped up the pressure and Westfields went back in front when Substitute Will Dallaway coolly slotted home a lovely finish with a low shot in the 58th minute.
Longlevens were holding on as Westfields carved open good chances and Jamie Clark and Reiss Taylor-Randall both went close following good approach play.
Westfields extended their lead in the 70th minute when when Longlevens got caught when Westfields took a quick throw in on the right and James Baldwin burst through and smashed a superb shot into the top corner of the Longlevens net to put Westfields into a commanding 3-1 lead.
Longlevens tried to hit back but former Hereford defender Mike McGrath was superb at the heart of the Westfields defence as Westfields deserved their second away win of the new season.
On Saturday Westfields face Nuneaton Town in the Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup at allpay.park Hereford 3pm
