Westfields 3 - Davies, Muirhead, Fuller
Westfields recorded their first win under new manager Daniel Moon with a hardworking 3-1 away win at Newent Town in their 2nd pre season friendly of the new season. Westfields were under early pressure but keeper Jack Oxenham produced a brilliant save when the home striker was clean through on goal . Westfields gradually got into their stride with Harrison Iddles impressive in midfield. Westfields took the lead on the 30th minute when Cam Davies headed home an Archie Muirhead corner. Then just before the break Muirhead added a second to give Westfields a 2-0 interval lead. After the interval Newent pulled a goal back with a good finish before Westfields made the game safe when Bailey Fuller shot from an acute angle to give Westfields a fine 3-1 away win.
On Saturday Westfields play their first home friendly when Cardiff side Caerau Ely visit allpay.park kick off 3pm
