Westfields had a comfortable 6-0 home win over Welland FC to reach the Semi Final of the HFA Senior Challenge Cup Final when they cruised home in last nights cup tie at allpay.park.
Three goals in each half gave Westfields a good win after Connor Davies-Austin had opened the scoring in the 10th minute then further goals from Mo Djalo and Zac Powell gave Westfields a 3-0 lead at the break.
After the interval the free scoring Westfields attack opened up the Welland defence again Rhian Ahmed added a 4th goal then substitute Cian Scott grabbed a 5th then Mo Djalo made it 6 from a cracking low drive as Westfields over ran a spirited Welland side who fought until the final whistle.
Westfields join Kington Town who beat Hereford FC 5-2 to also reach the semi finals.
The other quarter final tie between Bromyard Town and Wellington was postponed as Bromyard Town ground was waterlogged.
