Liz O’Brien of (Instagram Raging_nomad) has shown extraordinary generosity and community spirit towards Westfields FC.
After seeing a social media post from our dedicated groundsman Joe Mecke‑Davis about the damage caused by recent flooding, Liz kindly stepped forward to help fund a new mower for the club.
Today, we were honoured to welcome her to Hereford, travelling all the way from Brighton to meet Joe, the committee, and the team. Liz is a season ticket holder at Brighton & Hove Albion, remarkably Liz spends her life rescuing elephants in Africa.
Her passion for helping others shines through in everything she does.
On behalf of everyone at Westfields FC, it was a privilege to meet Liz and personally say thank you for her kindness, her time, and her belief in community football.
And in true Liz fashion, she didn’t stop there. During her visit, she insisted on sponsoring two players having watched the Fields players put on a good show.
