Westfields FC has commissioned JIC to undertake research into the role of local football and sports clubs within the community. The primary aim of this study is to develop a deeper understanding of the needs, expectations, and priorities of the local population, in order to support the development of an inclusive and responsive community service.
The research seeks to explore community perceptions of local sports clubs, identify barriers to participation, and assess how clubs can better contribute to social inclusion, health, and wellbeing.
Through a combination of community engagement and data-driven analysis, the study will identify key priorities and opportunities for local clubs to strengthen their community role.
The expected outcome is a set of actionable insights and recommendations that will enable Westfields FC and similar organisations to enhance participation, improve accessibility, and foster stronger relationships in the community.
