A non-league football club groundsman has lit up social media with his latest pitch-mowing creation.
Joe Mecke-Davis looks after the pitch at Westfields FC, external in Hereford and posted an image on X of his beloved pitch ahead of the club's first pre-season game.
The post has received thousands of likes and comments and reached more than 1m X users.
It is not the first time Joe's work has been celebrated online.
Last October, he made headlines for sleeping out through the night at the ground to keep a water pump topped up with petrol when the pitch was flooded."
